Terry Manfredi is leaving 1964...
In order to take care of some personal matters, Terry Manfredi is leaving 1964...The Tribute.
Please know that this is not a "band not getting along" situation. But simply that there are some
private and personal matters that Terry felt must be attended to as soon as possible.
We all wish Terry well in his endeavors and very much hope to be working with him again, one day soon.
We'll miss you Terry!
I am very saddened by this. I love Terry's energy he brought back to 1964... He will be deeply missed. I really would like to know who is replacing him? or are they just going to get subs till his return?
They have not named a replacement, and from I can gather, they won't for some time.
Oh my god... That is so sad. I hate to see him go. He was awesome and was so nice when we met him backstage. He even gave my brother some custom drumsticks just like Ringo's

He told me he was NOT fired. Just a few things to take care of without a crazy schedule to juggle.
Arty, that's a pretty bold statement. You leave no source that this is factual, so why should it be thought of as so?
Hello, everyone! It's time to put these rumors to rest, once and for all. To put it simply, I'm taking a hiatus. It could be for two days, two weeks, two months...that is yet to be determined. So, don't believe everything you hear, everything you read, and everything you want to be true. Mark, Gary, Tom, and I are a band of brothers. We've worked together, individually and collectively, for thirty years. I'll be back. And a personal note to all the fans: I love you and will miss you until I return.

Well, I have two things to say and I'm reflecting other fan's thoughts I know. God Bless Gary on your recovery. It's gonna be a great reunion when you rejoin the group. Your fill-ins have been exceptional and we have enjoyed them so much.
Secondly, Thank you Terry for being such a huge spark plug for 1964. You guys are the consumate professionals. I wish you success wherever you go and whatever you do. I hope maybe some day you can return to the group but if not, it has been a huge pleasure for me and my family to watch you perform.
Hope the coming fall season brings much happiness and success to all you great fellow 1964 fans as well. I feel like I'm part of a very extraordinary bunch of folks and I'm proud of it! God Bless!

Hope Terry comes back soon! I've never had the pleasure of seeing these guys live, only in youtube videos.
I just had the chance to see the boys live at a benefit concert Dec 6 in Oshawa Canada. After reading the above comments I find it difficult to understand I may have missed a better performance by the 'original' members of '64. Amazing, amazing and amazing!!

I saw the Tribute concert last night @ Carnegie Hall and Terry Manfredi is back as Ringo!!!! The band is beyond unbelievable and you can bet I'll be going every January from now on!!
